| Present projects
1. To provide fresh water and sanitation for the children of Rakiraki School. The lack of freshwater leads to the frequent closure of the school. Many children are showing symptoms of trachoma which, if untreated, can lead to blindness. We intend to also provide medication for those who are already suffering We are developing a hygiene programme for use throughout the school to re-enforce the importance of hygiene to avoid disease 2. To provide fresh water facilities for Lomaivunu School and for Joan of Arc School |
| Future projects
1. To expand the kindergarten programme of Fiji by providing further 'Sunny Smiles' kindergartens 3. To provide freshwater tanks for those rural schools that have no such facility 4. To provide sanitation for schools in Fiji that do not have this facility 5. To provide a mobile kindergarten for the western area of Viti Levu

Approximate costing
of some of these projects
£20,000 will pay for the building of a kindergarten for a school.
£10,000 will provide sanitation facilities for a typical school
£2,000 will refurbish the dining facilities at Navitilevu District School
£2,000 will equip a kindergarten
£300 will provide a reading scheme for a school
£200 will provide a 'teachers' pack for a school
£50 will provide a school with 500 exercise books
£30 will provide a school with 500 pencils
£10 will provide games/toys
for a children's ward
