Pooja is a three year old girl from rural Fiji. She was born with an under-developed lower jaw and virtually no tongue. She has difficulty in swallowing and talking. She is constantly salivating and is unable to eat proper solid foods. Her future was looking very bleak
After many months of negotiations, medical reports and examinations we are pleased to say that a team of surgeons from Melbourne in Australia have agreed to carry out the necessary surgery. We are currently organising visas etc and she should be in Australia very soon. We will keep you updated
