So far we have helped 4 individual children to be able to receive specialist medical treatment abroad.

In one case, a young girl with a rare genetic condition came to London for facial reconstructive surgery that took several months, but she has now returned full of confidence to enjoy life as a 'normal' teenager.

We organised for a 3-year old girl to travel to Melbourne for treatment to ease her breathing problems, and surgeons have promised to reconstruct her lower jaw when she is older.

We came across a 7-year Sam with a hole in the heart. Doctors in Fiji were unable to treat his condition, but we managed to arrange for a paediatric cardio-surgeon in India to operate. After travelling to New Delhi with his father (an adventure in itself!), he is now back in Fiji with a normal heart rate and the prospect of a bright future.

We provided day-to-day living expenses for a young boy and his father in Hawaii, while the boy underwent surgery to enable him to walk (Surgeons gave their services free and flights were covered by the Fiji government and Fiji Airways).
