TROPICAL CYCLONE WINSTON

On February 20^th 2016 Cyclone Winston struck Fiji. It was the worst cyclone ever in the Southern Hemisphere and the second worst cyclone ever in the world.

Many lives were lost and thousands of homes were destroyed.

Children of Fiji immediately set up a Cyclone Relief Campaign and were able to provide lots of tarpaulins for shelter, mosquito nets and water purification systems

After this we started to provide vegetable seeds to communities (as their crops had been destroyed) and we are currently providing multi-vitamin tablets

We now start the re-build programme. We are working to repair / rebuild kindergartens and school classrooms
